[minMars] Zubrin's "minimalist Mars mission"

Funny, I was just looking at the commercial crew promo video that shows
Dragon landing on Mars ... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6p6EruPdoXY)

Of course, heat shield aside, I haven't seen any reports on the suitability
of the launch abort system and parachute interface designs doubling for Mars
EDL ... so I'm naturally wondering if this concept has moved beyond
animation and into simulation.

Anything yet made public on the subject?
