Assuming that the Dragon could be adapted for Mars EDL, we could  triple our payload delivery capability to the surface of Mars (around 1 mt to 3 mt) with a single Falcon Heavy launch... might be worth a test flight. :)<br>

Of course, heat shield aside, I haven't seen any reports on the suitability of the launch abort system and parachute interface designs doubling for Mars EDL ... so I'm naturally wondering if this concept has moved beyond animation and into simulation.<br>
